Portal scaffolding is one of the most widely used scaffolding in construction. Because the main frame is in the shape of a “door”, it is called a portal or portal scaffold, also known as a scaffold or a gantry. This kind of scaffolding is mainly composed of main frame, horizontal frame, cross diagonal brace, scaffold board, adjustable base and so on. Portal scaffolding was first developed by the United States. It has the characteristics of simple disassembly and assembly, good load-bearing performance, safe and reliable use, etc., and its development speed is very fast. Let’s introduce the materials needed in the scaffolding construction process:

Door frame: accept the load from the upper part.
Interspersed rod: Constrain the lateral displacement of the door frame, add rigidity, and increase the effect of shear support.
Pad (pad): extend the pressure surface, adjust the level and verticality of the scaffold.
Lock arm: Constrain the vertical displacement of the upper and lower mast.
Barge core: the positioning connecting rod of the upper and lower gantry.
Foot pedal: can enhance the overall rigidity of the scaffold.
Joint rod: the joint piece with the building structure to keep the scaffolding stable.
Horizontal reinforcement bar: to enhance the overall rigidity of the scaffold.
Interspersed with reinforcement rods: to enhance the overall rigidity of the scaffold.
Fasteners: divided into right-angle fasteners and rotating fasteners.
Up and down ladders: for up and down scaffolding.
Parallel frame: replace the foot pedal to enhance the overall rigidity of the scaffold.
